Brian W. Anderson, age 61, of Brooklyn Park, passed away Sunday, December 14, at his residence.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. followed by his celebration of life service at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. Interment will be nest spring/summer at the Green Lake Lutheran Cemetery near Spicer. Arrangements are entrusted to the Peterson Brothers Funeral Home. www.petersonbrothers.com
Brian was born on April 9, 1964, in Willmar, Minnesota, the son of Ranleigh and Julie (Giesler) Anderson. He grew up in Mankato, graduated from Mankato East High School in 1982 and then from baking school at the Mankato Community College. Brian was employed for many years with several Cub Food stores throughout the metro area, retiring in 2024 due to health reasons.
He is survived by his parents, Ranleigh and Julie Anderson of Willmar and his sister, Nancy Anderson of Des Moines, Iowa, besides other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
