Brian Michael Boozan, age 61, of Royal Oak, Michigan, passed away on December 6, 2024. Born in Windsor, Ontario, on January 21, 1963, to John "Jack" and Rose Boozan (née LaBranche).
Brian's family moved to the Royal Oak area when he was young, where he grew up, attended local schools and raised his two boys. He absolutely loved watching the boys play sports and grow into young athletes. He thrived off their success and love of the game, in anything they played.
Brian went on to enjoy a career as an architectural roofer for over 30 years. He was known for his strong work ethic and the enjoyment he found in helping his friends with anything they needed fixed or updated.
Outside of work, Brian had many pastimes. He loved bowling, shooting pool, being up north and watching sports; especially hockey and football. He was a true Lions fan and would have been so excited to watch this season finish out.
Above all, Brian valued his relationships. He cherished spending time with family and friends. Always finding joy in life's simple pleasures.
Brian will be remembered as the beloved life partner of Alana Eggen. Loving father of Gordon (Jenny) Boozan and Brandon Boozan. Proud grandfather of Beckham, Greyson, and Anastasia Boozan. Dear brother of Shelly Dalgleish and Barry Boozan. Dear son of John "Jack" Boozan and the late Rose Boozan. Further survived by various nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial visitation for Brian will be held on Thursday, December 12, from 10 a.m. until time of service, 11 a.m., at Royal Oak First United Methodist Church, 320 W. 7th Street, Royal Oak.
