Brian Douglas Chappell, age 58 years, passed away unexpectedly on October 3, 2022. Brian was a loving father, PawPaw, brother, son and friend. Brian was always compassionate and showed unconditional love to all. Brian Proudly served 12 years in the United States Navy. Brian was highly skilled in his career in the Oilfield Industry as a Senior Electronics Technician. He took pride his his work and always went above and beyond.
Outside of his career, He loved spending time with his grandkids, Bentley and Chloe. He loved being a PawPaw more than anything. He was passionate about getting his pilots license, Flying with his best friend Richard and his brother Warren. He loved going out on the Lake and taking friends and family on his boats, creating fun memories and making jokes. He always made everyone laugh and he was the Dallas Cowboys #1 FAN!
Brian is survived by his two daughters: Jocelyn Morris (Kyle Morris), and Jessica Coleman, (Sean Coleman). Brian is survived by his two grandchildren, Bentley Morris and Chloe Morris, whom he loved dearly and spoiled every day. Brian is also survived by his mother, Marie Speich (Bill Speich); his Siblings, Warren Chappell (Chrissy Chappell) and Holly Chappell; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Decker Chappell; his sister, Sondra Gordon Chappell and Uncle, Donald Chappell.
Visitation will be held on Sunday October 9, 2022 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, TX. Services will be Monday October 10 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home as well. A private burial will take place at a later date. Memorial condolences to the family may be made at www.shmfh.com.
