Brian Edward Cook, 66, of Martinsville, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025 at his home.

Brian was born Monday, February 23, 1959 to the late Pharoby Ann (Clodfelder) Lehman in New Orleans, Louisiana.

He graduated from Martinsville High School in 1977. Brian served his country in the United States Army, and was honorably discharged. He graduated from the AMA Motorcycle Mechanic School in Daytona, Florida. He loved riding motorcycles, Brian even had motorcycle trails that other people would come and ride on with him. He enjoyed going to close circuit racing tracks to race his road bike, when he could get a sponsor to donate/discount tires and engine components. He had a deep love for animals. Brian and his partner, Brenda, helped out by bringing supplies to the humane society. Brian was close with his family and loved Sheldon like a son.

Brian is survived by his partner of eleven years, Brenda Cherry. He is also survived by his cousin, Mark Paul, who stood by him with unwavering care and companionship.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Pharoby; stepfather, Robert "Bob" Lehman.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2025 at Costin Funeral Chapel with military honors starting at 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Morgan County Humane Society.
