New Iberia, LA – A home-going celebration for Mr. Brian Jude Corsey, Sr. will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Fletcher Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Broussard, officiating.
He will await the resurrection at Sorrel Community Cemetery (Highway 318) in Jeanerette, LA (Sorrel).
A visitation will be held at Fletcher Funeral Home on Saturday, October 19, 2024, beginning at 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
Mr. Brian Jude Corsey, Sr. was born to the union of James Robert Corsey and Fannie Johnson Corsey on January 24, 1959, in Franklin, LA. He transitioned at 4:28 P.M. on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Marrero Healthcare Center in Marrero, LA.
He leaves in God's care memory, six children, Brian Jude Corsey, Jr. of Olivier, LA, Quintez Corsey of Church Point, LA, Embrille Corsey, Jonas Corsey of New Iberia, LA, Shawdae Corsey of Houston, TX and Mandy Corsey of New Iberia, LA; one brother, Jerry Corsey of New Orleans, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death his parents, James Robert Corsey and Fannie Johnson Corsey and four brothers, James Robert Corsey, Jr., Woodrow Corsey, Paulfrey Corsey, and Rickey Anthony Corsey.
The Active Pallbearers are Brian Corsey, Jr., Brian Corsey III, Quiden Corsey, Quintez Corsey, Sr., Quintez Corsey, Jr., and Jerry Corsey.
