Brian Davin Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Evergreen Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel on Jan. 12, 2026.
Brian Davin, 67, passed away on January 10, 2026. Brian was born in Norwalk, Connecticut, on April 17, 1958, to Jeanette and Roland Davin. Brian and his family lived in Norwalk until 1970, when they started a series of moves out west until settling in Oregon in 1972. After a stint in construction in California, Brian found his calling as a firefighter, officially joining the Vancouver Fire Department in 1985, dedicating himself to over 36 years of service. During that time, Brian met his wife of over 30 years, Kimberly Hansen, they settled in Ridgefield, Washington and welcomed their daughter Gabrielle in 1999. Brian had a zest for life, living by the phrase "work hard, play hard", always ready for the next adventure, whether it was to the mountains or the beach. He enjoyed hobbies like snowboarding at Timberline, tinkering on his latest vehicle or home projects, hiking with his family including his dogs, and above all soaking in the sunshine. Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Davin, father, Roland Davin, and brother, Michael Davin. Brian is survived by his wife, Kimberly Davin, his daughter, Gabby Davin, and his sister, Robin Davin. We share our deepest sympathy and condolences to Kim and Gabby for the loss of Brian. He was one special friend. The enjoyment we had with the Davins over the years, from The Broncos to Jimmy Buffet and comparing properties in Tucson hoping to get away from the soggy PNW during the winter.
We will miss you, Brian.

Our love and prayers,
Rick and Bridget
