Brian Dorion Obituary

Brian K. Dorion, of Butler, passed away unexpectedly in his home on August 27, 2025. He was 59.

He was born on May 30, 1966 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late John and Jan (Reed) Dorion. Brian spent the majority of his life in the Mansfield area, but in 2011 he decided to make Butler his home.

On April 2, 2012, during an intimate but beautiful ceremony by their home pond, Brian married the love of his life, Randi Eshelman. Throughout their 13 years of marriage they shared countless memories, lots of laughter, and endless love.

Brian could be described as a "Jack of all trades" with the ability to fix just about anything he touched. For many years he worked as a Truck Driver, then moved into a more managerial role, before deciding to step back into the role of a driver- which he immensely enjoyed. In his spare time he enjoyed working tirelessly to build his homestead in the countryside, tinkering with anything and everything he could find, and spending time with his beloved dogs.

He is survived by his loving wife Randi Dorion of Butler, children Sonya Dorion of Perrysville, Sharree (Damenyon) Brown of Shelby, Savannah Dorion of Butler, and Devin Dorion Butler, siblings Chuck (Deniece) Jeffries of Mansfield, Annette (Troy) Hurrell of Perrysville, and Mark Jeffries of Galion, grandchildren Tayler Ferguson of Texas, Feaydan Dorion of Mansfield, Malikhi Ison of Mansfield, Leo Ferguson of Shelby, and Leland Ferguson of Shelby.

In addition to his parents, Brian is preceded in death by his grandparents Chet and Goldie Reed, and Karen Sigler.

The Dorion family will receive guests for a Memorial Gathering on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 5 pm to 6 pm at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Bellville/Butler Chapel.

Snyder Funeral Homes is honored to serve Brian's family and encourage you to share a fond memory or message of condolence on his obituary page at www.SnyderFuneralHomes.com.
