Brian Frank Duggan, 54, of Carbondale, passed away Saturday at home after a brief illness.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the former Joyce Jones and the late Daniel Patrick Duggan. He was a 1985 graduate of West Scranton High School and received a degree in electronics from Johnson College. He was employed by Lockheed Martin in the electronics department.
Brian was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR fan. He was a professional uncle and enjoyed the time he spent with his nieces and nephews. He was an all-over good guy and had a strong faith in God. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Also surviving are a brother, Daniel and his wife, Carolyn, Old Forge; sisters, Dianne Fair and husband, Greg, Cogan Station; Colleen Duggan, Olyphant; and Kathleen Duggan, High Pointe, N.C.; nieces and nephews, Daniel Duggan, Kate Lynn Duggan, Ellora Figured, Brandon Grandinetti and Arianna Figured; an uncle, Edward Jones, Hollisterville; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Edward and Gertrude Jones.
The funeral will be Saturday from Savino Traditional Funerals and Cremation Care, 157 S. Main St., Scranton, Carl J. Savino Jr., supervisor, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church, Jackson Street, Scranton. Entombment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
Friends may call Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Heart Association, 300 Fifth Ave., Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451.
