Brian Edward Fedewa, of Portland, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on May 17, 1952, to Vernon and Dorothy (Cross) Fedewa, Brian was a devoted member of St. Patrick Catholic Church for many years. He loved working as a pipefitter at General Motors, retiring after 39 years of service. An avid outdoorsman and sports enthusiast, he found joy in deer hunting, golfing, bowling, basketball, volleyball, and water skiing. He also loved playing cards and took great pride in tending to his garden. He was extremely generous with his time, talents, and treasures, expressing his love through his service to others. Brian will be missed by all who knew him.
Preceding Brian in death are his parents; father and mother-in-law, Anthony and Norma Simon; sister, Jan Tefft; brothers-in-law, Steven Simon and Dean Smith; and sister-in-law, Jerie Fedewa. Surviving Brian are his loving wife of 52 years, Annette Fedewa; children, Brian Fedewa, Jeremy (April Nickols) Fedewa, and Amy (Jim) Johncox; grandchildren, Rachel, Madison, Ella, Sarah, Ethan, and Josie; siblings, Valarie (Doug) Erwin, Tonya (Michael Nowik) Fedewa, Brad Fedewa, Wendy (Don) Cole, Gregory Fedewa, Christopher (Lisa) Fedewa, Andrea (Dave Haines) Fedewa, and Lynne (Joe) Vermillion; brother-in-law, Michael Tefft; Simon in-laws, Larry (Sandy) Simon, Kathy Lehman, Dennis (Gladys) Simon, Judy Smith, Mary (John) Black, Anthony (Teresa) Simon, and Teresa (Dennis) Martin; and many nieces and nephews.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Mike Alber at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 10, 2025 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Portland. The family will receive friends starting at 10:00 a.m. at the church with rosary beginning 15 minutes before Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you pray for Brian as he enters into eternal rest. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes.
