Brian Godfrey Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Campbell Funeral Home - Ipswich on Jul. 8, 2023.
Ipswich - Brian Godfrey, 49, of Ipswich passed away unexpectedly at home on July 5, 2023. Son of Walter Godfrey and the late Beverlee (Millner) Botta, Brian was born in Lynn and raised in Ipswich and Revere. He attended Revere High School and graduated in 1992. He then went on to work various jobs, but his passion was working for himself doing hardscapes and masonry work.
Brian enjoyed his work and bike riding in his free time. He was always willing to help his dad and others with various projects. He was a hard worker and very skilled. Unfortunately, Brian struggled with alcohol and drugs for many years of his life which robbed him of his amazing potential.
Brian is survived by his girlfriend Kristyn Puchniak of Ipswich; his father Walter Godfrey of Ipswich; his brothers Eric and family of Beverly, Scott and family of Ipswich and Danvers, as well as his daughter Ashlee of Fair Haven.
Visitation for Brian will be held from 5PM to 7 PM on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at the Campbell-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High St. Ipswich. Interment will be held privately. Memorial contributions may be made to AFSP Massachusetts https://afsp.org/chapter/massachusetts in Brian's memory.
