Brian Matthew Greene, 61, of Peoria, AZ, passed away on April 4, 2025. He was born in Kittery, ME, December 28, 1963. Brian is survived by his sons, David Greene (Caitlin) of Peoria, AZ, and John Greene of Goodyear, AZ; his brother, Barry Greene of Tucson, AZ; his sister, Barbara Malott (Ace) of St. Joseph, MO; and his step-brothers, Robert Greene (Crystal) of Glendale, AZ, and Rodney Greene (Wendy) of Phoenix, AZ. He is also remembered by his stepmother, Karen Greene of Peoria, AZ.
Brian dedicated 40 years of service to AAFES before retiring. He had a passion for collectibles that started with baseball cards, hot wheels and then attended auctions to find items to flip. A true sports enthusiast, he was an ardent fan of the Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati Reds. In his younger years, Brian enjoyed playing football, basketball, softball, and baseball. He cherished the time spent coaching his sons from T-ball through their baseball journey. His coaching style endeared him to both the kids and their parents, who held him in high regard.
He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Greene (Denise), his mother, Patricia Hay, and his baby sister as he often called her, BethAnn Best.
Services will be held on May 17, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Menke Funeral Home 12420 N 103rd Ave. Sun City AZ 85351
