Brian Carlos Gregg, age 57, of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully at 5:18 a.m. on June 1, 2025, after a courageous 9½-year battle with cancer. He was born on March 27, 1968, and grew up in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Brian graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in the Class of 1986, then graduated from the police academy. He went on to earn two bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice and Nursing from the University of Texas at UT Tyler.

A devoted healthcare professional, Brian dedicated over 20 years of service as a nurse with Baylor Scott & White where he eventually retired but continued working in Tyler, Dallas, and Anchorage, Alaska. He specialized in critical care, dialysis, and apheresis, and was known for his remarkable skill, deep compassion, and the countless lives he touched throughout his career.

Brian loved the beauty and serenity of Alaska, where he enjoyed spending time salmon fishing, one of his favorite pastimes. He also served as a Cub Scouts leader, and those who knew him remember his strength, dedication, and the love he poured into everything he did.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Amy Diane Miller Gregg; his son, Elias Gregg; his aunt, Carolyn Wofford; uncles, Charles Gregg and Edward Tippet; mother-in-law, Wilma Sue Milligan; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Carlos Gregg and Judy Carol (Freeman) Gregg; aunt, Janice Tippet; uncles, Edward and Wayne Freeman; aunt, Sandy Gregg; uncle, Robert Wofford; aunt Freida Freeman Wilson and three cousins.

His family invites you to share in honoring his memory.
