William E. "Eggie" Gregg

William E. "Eggie" Gregg, 75, of Oklahoma Borough, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 in AHN – Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville, PA.

Born June 15, 1950 in Natrona Heights, he was a son of the late Harold L. & Ruth Anna (Good) Gregg.

Eggie was a 1968 graduate of Kiski Area High School. He was a graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics as well. He worked as a truck driver for Paul Riggle & Sons Trucking before retiring in 2003. Eggie was also a certified Harley Davidson mechanic.

Eggie was a member of the Apollo Lodge 437 F&AM, the Pittsburgh Shriners, and the Coudersport Consistory. He was also a member of the Shriners Motor Corp. Eggie was an Assistant Scout Master for Troop 551 in Hyde Park as well.

Eggie enjoyed riding and working on his Harley motorcycle and playing poker.

Eggie is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kathy G. (Minnich) Gregg of Oklahoma Borough; his daughters, Elizabeth (Shane) Matejka of Neshannock Township and Melissa Hashmi of the United Kingdom; his son, Benjamin (Katlyn) Gregg of East Vandergrift; his six grandchildren, Imran Hashmi, Ashlyn Hayes, Kayleigh Szugye, Sara Mae Matejka, and Maxwell & Caleb Gregg; his two great-grandchildren, Jasper and Lincoln; his sisters, Suzanne Spanoudakis of Apollo and Catherine F. (James) Girt of Vandergrift; his brother, Burnett "BJ" Gregg of West Vandergrift; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, March 12, 2026 in the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 100 Owens View Avenue, Apollo from 10:30 a.m. until the Celebration of Life Tribute Service at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Please join the family as they honor Eggie's life.
