Ronald J. Kulick

1952 - 2026

Ronald J. Kulick, 73, of Allegheny Township, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, at home, surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Born Sept. 22, 1952, in Kittanning, he was a son of the late Martin M. Kulick and Alma A. (Smeltzer) Kulick. Ron was a 1970 graduate of Leechburg High School and worked as a line operator for Allegheny Ludlum, employed at the West Leechburg location for several years and his final 10 years at the Vandergrift location, retiring in 2012. Ron was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church, the Vandergrift Sportsmen's Club, and the Gilpin Township Rifle Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trap shooting. Ron most loved being with his grandsons and liked visiting Dan at the Cayman Islands. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Marcia A. (Gowetski) Kulick; children, Kevin M. Kulick of Gettysburg, Daniel E. (Noelle Stefanowicz) Kulick of the Cayman Islands, and Sandra J. (Jeffrey) McCoog of Gloucester City, NJ; his grandchildren, Logan J. and Liam J. McCoog; and his furbabies, Jinx and Mattie; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 23, 2026, in CURRAN-SHAFFER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo. Parting Prayers of Transfer will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 109 Owens View Ave., Apollo, with The Most Reverend Larry J. Kulick, JCL, as Celebrant and Father Vincent E. Zidek, O.S.B., concelebrating. Interment in St. Catherine's Cemetery, Gilpin Township.
