David J. "Dave" Entwistle

David "Dave" J. Entwistle, 61, of Vandergrift, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026 in AHN – Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville.

Born August 8, 1964 in Bristol, PA, he was a son of the late John W. Entwistle, Jr. and Joanne M. (Zaremba) Entwistle.

Dave was a 1982 graduate of Plum Boro High School. He was employed by Philips in New Kensington as an assembler.

Dave was a member of the South Buffalo Township Sportsman's Club. He was an avid outdoorsman, gun collector, and a big history buff – especially World War II. Dave also loved traveling to Gettysburg.

Dave was a loving husband to his wife of 10 years, Tammie Y. Entwistle of Vandergrift; he is also survived by his mother, Joanne M. (Zaremba) Entwistle of Plum; his step-children, Troy Crocker and Summer (Micah) Silvis; his brother, Kenneth J. Entwistle of Plum; his sisters, Kathy S. (Andrew) Van Ord of Russell, PA and Tina M. (David) Phillips of Lower Burrell; his grandchildren, Virginia and Micah Jr.; his niece, Lily A. Van Ord of Russell; his nephew, Logan D. Phillips of Lower Burrell; his fur buddy, Maddox; and many other friends and family members.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. in the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo until the hour of service at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Bob Shallenberger officiating.
