Obituary
Brian Keith Griffith, age 56 of Fairborn, passed away Thursday April 13, 2023. He was born January 17, 1967 in Xenia, the son of Donald and E.J. (Medley) Griffith.
Brian was a 1985 graduate of Fairborn High School and earned an Associate degree from Clark State University. He was a longtime employee with the City of Fairborn Police Department, serving as a dispatcher for many years and currently as the property room manager.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald; daughter, Tangee Ann Johnson; and several aunts, uncles, and other extended family.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Betty; a daughter, Jamie Lynn (Tabby) Johnson of Fairborn; his mother, E.J. Griffith of Fairborn; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren; two brothers, Donald (Anya) Griffith, Chad (Michelle) Griffith; a sister, Erin (Joe) Jarrell; as well as many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends, including his Fairborn PD family.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday April 20, 2023 at 12:00 noon at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow at the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, New Carlisle.
