Brian Dean Gulliver passed away on Dec. 11, 2025, at Corewell Health Niles Hospital, Niles.
Brian was born March 27, 1957, in Niles to Ronald and Carol (Walters) Gulliver.
As a child, Brian attended Trinity Lutheran School in Berrien Springs and then went on to graduate from Berrien Springs High School in 1976. On Nov. 27, 2010, Brian married Stacy Sherman, who lovingly cared for him through his illness and was with him at his passing. Brian worked in maintenance for Berrien County RESA for many years, caring for buildings in the Berrien Springs and St. Joseph area and he retired from there.
Family time was important to Brian, especially with his daughters: Lisa and Kelly and his many "grand-dogs and grand-cats." In his leisure time, Brian enjoyed watching movies and following University of Michigan football. He will be remembered as "one of the nicest guys" with his easy-going personality, his big heart, and his love for music and dancing. His strong Christian conviction and faith carried him through many obstacles in life including his battle with MS and Parkinson's.
Brian is survived by his wife, Stacy; his daughters: Lisa (Ken) Constant, Kelly (Greg Garrison) Gulliver; mother, Carol Gulliver; sisters: Denise (Steve) Cook, Jeanine (Larry) Larson; brother-in-law, Dan (Kathy) Sherman; sister-in-law, Deb (Dave) Koenigshof.
Brian was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Gulliver.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
Contributions may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation. Arrangements are entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel, St. Joseph, 556-9450. Online condolences can be given at www.starks-menchinger.com.

I worked with Brian at BLC. He usually had a smile on his face and was a hard worker. God is hugging you tight! Pam Montgomery
