Brian J. Haggerty, age 65, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 after a hard fought battle with cancer. Brian was raised and educated in Braintree where he graduated Braintree High School in 1978. He opened Keystone Elevator Service and Modernization in 1995.
Brian married his wife, Cynthia, in 1983 and they settled in Weymouth where they lived for 38 years until 2019 when they moved to Kingston. Brian was active in Weymouth Rotary for many years, and was President in 2021. He loved the Celtics and Patriots and enjoyed golfing but his best times in life were spending time with his wife and family.
Brian is survived by his beloved wife, Cynthia Haggerty (Wright) of Kingston, his loving children Thomas Haggerty and his wife Amanda of Florida and Rebecca Haggerty of Utah, and his cherished grandchildren Harper and Merritt. Brian is also the brother of John, Patricia, and Garrett Haggerty.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation for Brian on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 4-7pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq) Weymouth, MA. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10:30am on Friday morning for a Celebration of Life reflection prior to the Funeral Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church in S. Weymouth at 11:30am.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Weymouth Rotary Foundation at C/o Donald Gustafson 775 Pleasant St. Weymouth, MA 02189.
