PARISH, NY - Brian M. Kearney, 61, of Parish, New York, passed away peacefully at his home on July 6, 2025. He was born on July 9, 1963, in Syracuse, New York.
Brian graduated from West Genesee High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He dedicated his professional life to engineering and retired from Daldrop SBB.
He is predeceased by his father, David Kearney, and his brother, Richard Kearney.
Brian is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jamie Kearney; his daughter, Lyndsey (Elijah) Banville; his mother, Pamela Filippi; his sisters, Jennifer (Jason) Malcomb and Melanie Kearney; his brother, Michael Filippi; his grandchildren, Addison and Aiden Banville; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, NY. A date for a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Brian's memory may be made to Hospice of CNY.
