Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home - Dover on Mar. 13, 2026.
After a period of failing health, Brian Thomas Kelley, Sr., passed away on March 12, 2026, at the age of 84.

Brian was married to Ann Rae (Tondreault) Kelley for 61 happy years; a son to Maurice and Mabel (Nisbet) Kelley; father to Raeline O'Neil (husband - Jim), Brian, Jr., and Scott (wife - Carrie); and established as "Poppop" in 1996 to Brianna O'Neil, Shannon O'Neil, Lincoln Kelley, and Emma Kelley. He was predeceased by his brother, Elbert Kelley, and sister, Maureen Butterfield. Being a lifelong resident of Dover, he is known by many as Mr. Kelley, Uncle Brian, Brian, and Coach. He was a mentor to many Dover Youth as he coached both baseball and basketball through Dover Rec sports.

Brian worked at Moore Business Forms where he was a salesman and member of Moore's "Presidential Club", several years over. After Moore's closure of the Dover facility, Brian and Ann purchased a portion of Moore and established Contract Manufacturing Technologies in the early 2000's. CMT employed several former co-workers from Moore, continuing manufacturing of prescision high speed tractors which was sold and serviced worldwide. Brian successfully operated the business until it was sold upon his retirement.

Brian was passionate and dedicated to his family, and appreciated his long ongoing friendships with many, including his high school friends with whom he met on a monthly basis for lunch at Kelley's Row.

Services will be held at Wiggin Purdy Funeral Home, 655 Central Ave. Dover, NH 03820 with calling hours on Friday, March 20th, from 4 pm to 7 pm, with a mass at Parish of the Assumption (St. Joesph's) 150 Central Ave. Dover, NH 03820, on Saturday, March 21st, at 10 am.

Interment will be privately held at a later time to allow for his grandson's, Lincoln, release from Spaulding Rehab facility after he suffered a work injury.
