Brian Keith Koper, 52, of Weirton, WV, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, at Trinity West Medical Center in Steubenville, Ohio.

Born on December 6, 1972, Brian was one of five children of Robert and Judy Norman Koper. He was a graduate of Oak Glen High School, Class of 1991, and went on to earn his degree from Fairmont State University, where he laid the foundation for his career as an electrical engineer with Cleveland Cliffs Weirton.

A man of faith, Brian cherished life's simple joys, finding peace in nature, camping, fishing, and boating on the Ohio River, and spending time at Weirton's Marina, and was a fan of all Pittsburgh sports teams.

Brian was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend who placed his family above anything else.

In addition to his father, Brian was preceded in death by his beloved son, Cole Christopher Pryor.

He will be remembered with love by his wife, Connie Long Koper; daughter Chessie (Greg) Bazzo; grandchildren Connor Bazzo and Vinny Chiodi; brothers Rob (Tammy) Koper, Paul (Tammy) Koper, and Rich Koper; sister Kim (Randy) Lancaster; in-laws Charles and Linda Carpenter; brother-in-law Steve (Kim) Carpenter; sister-in-law Tina (Jamie) George; and many nieces and nephews.

He also leaves behind his two loyal dogs, Camo and Falcon.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton.

Brian will be laid to rest at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio.
