Brian A. Kuhlkin, Sr., 68 of Little Falls, N.J. passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
Brian grew up in Fair Lawn and was a longtime resident of Little Falls. He built his career as a Construction Project Manager, but his true passion was never in titles, it was in people. He was the kind of man who could build anything, fix anything, and help anyone. Whether sketching architectural plans, tackling electronics, restoring a motorcycle, or planning the perfect holiday celebration, Brian thrived on challenges and did everything with heart.
He was a natural problem solver with a creative spark, always driven to learn and master something new. Yet, more than anything, Brian's greatest joy was his family. He had an unmatched devotion to his loved ones and lived to make others happy-especially his son, Brian Jr., whom he cherished above all.
Whether it was watching the Yankees or Giants, cooking up something special, reading, decorating for holidays, or taking long leisurely drives, Brian brought joy to the little things in life. He never missed an opportunity to give, from extravagant birthday surprises to simple acts of kindness, his generosity was boundless. He gave everything he had, even when he had nothing to spare, simply to see someone else smile.
That's the kind of man he was-selfless, with a heart of gold. He would drop everything to be there for anyone in need, and if he couldn't, he'd find a way. They simply don't make them like him anymore.
Brian is survived by his beloved son, Brian Kuhlkin, Jr.; loving sisters Janice Pocsi (Charles), Valerie Schreck (Anthony) and Denise Assante (Michael); and his nieces and nephews Christine Pocsi, Joseph Pocsi (Tamara), Meghan Foley (Matthew), Danielle Haucke (Christopher), Jenna Gonzales (Kyle) his goddaughter, and Morgan Assante. He also leaves behind his dear godson and grand-nephew Jack Pocsi.
He was a cherished part of his extended family, including his loving partner Diane Viterito; step-sons Michael Viterito (Sarah), Justin Viterito (Kaisa); and his adoring grandchildren Michael Jr., Matthew, and Valentina Viterito.
Brian was predeceased by his parents Louis and Genevieve Kuhlkin; sister Carolyn Kuhlkin; and former wife Cynthia Giaquinto.
