Brian A. Makrush, 54 of N. Fayette Twp., passed on Monday, January 5, 2025.
He was born September 4, 1971 in Fort Sill, OK.; a son of Barbara E. Kleer Pike and step-father, Albert "Butch" Motte both of McDonald.
Brian was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School class of 1989. He worked as a consultant for many years with Highmark payment integrity department. He enjoyed building Lego, gardening, drawing, woodworking, and shooting target practice.
On July 31, 2017 he married, Shelly Slovick who survives.
Also surviving are two step-daughters, Abigail Scheers and Sarah Slovick; a sister Bobbie Jo "BJ" Chevalier, and a brother, Travis Pike.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Graff-Nation Funeral and Cremation Service 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057; where services will take place immediately following visitation at 8PM.
