Hey Bri,

Well, it was a hell of a life, kid...not nearly as long as we all wanted it but, geez, Dig --you made it so full!

It's said that we all have a certain amount of things we have to accomplish and learn before we leave...I guess you just got it done before the rest of us, huh? ...sure seemed like it, anyway.

And you shared what you learned with us too....at least you tried --some of us just didn't get it, though. I know I didn't always, and still don't from time-to-time. But you never lost your focus on what's good and important about life.

I will try to honor your memory, by remembering your lessons and trying to live up to them.

You were one unforgetable person, Brian Marshall...and in your case that is a VERY good thing.

Peace, my old friend...hope we meet again.

Our family enjoyed meeting Brian very much - especially the kids!! They thought he was one of the funniest people they had met. He was very young at heart and they could tell how much he loved being around kids. We'll miss him very much. Love from the Caseys

I am sorry that I couldn't be there to give my condolences to all of the Marshalls, I hope they all know that I am thinking of them. I haven't seen Brian since Jeannie's service, I know he had been having some hard times with his health, but to have him gone is such a loss.Ellie has told me stories about Brian from SanFrancisco and just recently how when Jeannie was sick she asked Brian to come back, and he did without question. That made her happy. That was Brian. He was a caring, thoughtful,happy and very funny individual. Those qualities are extremely important in this life. He had those qualities. Someone wrote he was infectious, with his good humor and carefree ways, I think it sums him up beautifully.She told me how many people came to the service, he had many friends, Brian was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. Brian, Your carefree and sometimes devil may care attitudes, and your great sense of humor made it always a fun time to run into you. I never met a single person that was not tickled by your infectious personality. You will be greatly missed by me and countless others

Brian;

You will long be remembered as a caring and giving individual, always putting your well being second to those you cared for and loved. Having known you for well over thirty years I am sure that cyberspace would be clogged if one were to attempt to tell even a portion of the printable stories you leave behind. You will be missed and for those of us that were fortunate enough to have known you, we will always remember the goods times and the person you were.

God Bless....

Hi Brian,

I am not sure if you remember me, but you gave me a ride home a few times from basketball games. You were always so nice, and I always waved to you when I would see you driving around Scituate. You were a pretty cool guy, and I know that so many people will miss you.
