Brian Paul "Brian" McGavin

Brian P. McGavin, 80, of Candor, New York, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Brian was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Patricia McGavin; sister, Michelle. Brian is survived by his wife of 60 years, Karen McGavin; two daughters, Tammy Jo McGavin-Presgrove and her husband, Frank Presgrove; Monica McGavin; three grandchildren, Jarrod, Colby, Nena; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pamela Baker, Paula "Polly" Kerrick; brother, Robert McGavin; several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Brian retired from Ithaca College and was a member of The Sons of the American Legion, Arden Kelsey Post 907, Candor, NY. He will be remembered for his love of dogs and airplanes but most importantly his love of his family. Services will be held privately. Brian will be buried in the Tioga Cemetery, Owego, NY.
