Brian M. McKee, 62, of Townsend, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.

Brian was born on November 21, 1962 in Chester, PA, to the late William and Helen McKee (Cristinzio). Brian attended Chichester High School and worked as a Local 19 union welder for most of his life; he eventually started his own welding business, until he retired. Brian also trained dogs for many years, and had a special love for labrador retrievers. Brian enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles, sports, music, the beach, and spending time with his children, family and friends.

Brian was preceded in death by his son, a beloved baby boy, Kevin McKee, and his parents, William and Helen McKee (Cristinzio).

Brian is survived by his son, Brian P. McKee of Middletown, DE, and daughter, Erin P. McKee of Queens, NY; his brother, William J. McKee (Kathryn) of Chadds Ford, PA, and a cousin who Brian considered a brother, Steven J. Cristinzio of New Castle, DE.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 2 – 3:30 PM at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown, DE. Funeral service will begin at 3:30 PM.
