Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel - Grove CityBrian David Mouser, 53 years old, passed away surrounded by his friends and family on Sunday, August 10, 2025. He was preceded in death by his father, James “Jim” Mouser; his mother, Janet Mouser; and infant son, Houston Mouser. Brian, always a proud father, is survived by his sons, Austin Mouser and Chase Mouser; his siblings, Cheri (Brian) Turner and Dr. James Garret (Kristina) Mouser; and his nieces and nephews, Luke, Jamie, and Haley Turner, and Ethan and Caroline Mouser. He also leaves behind friends who became family, Michael “Babe” Fries and family, and Patti Rivera and family, and his beloved boxers, Nila and Archer.
Brian, affectionately called “Boss” by his masonry family, was the son of a brick mason and inherited the mind and body for the trade. He kept his father’s vision alive with the creation and success of Mouser Masonry and has proudly passed that knowledge to his son and niece. Brian embodied the “work hard, play hard” mentality, and when not overseeing a masonry masterpiece, he directed his energies to Saturday night pool nights, Thursday night cookouts, July 4th extravaganzas, perfecting his guitar skills or his very favorite, cheering the Ohio State Buckeyes to a win!
Visitation will be held from 5 - 8 pm Tuesday, August 26, at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to PanCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network) and let’s beat cancer (and that team up North) for good!
