Brian Munsell Obituary
1959-2025
Brian N. Munsell, 65, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away at his home peacefully Tuesday, January 14, 2025 after losing his battle with cancer.
He was born August 23, 1959 in Maryville, Missouri to Harold and Doris (Steward) Munsell.
Brian married Emily Roach on June 21, 2002. She survives of the home.
He retired in 2019 from the Buchanan County School District after many years as a custodian for Rushville Elementary School.
Brian enjoyed camping, riding 4-wheelers, drinking beer, and sitting around the fire. A loving husband, father and grandfather, Brian greatly enjoyed spoiling his wife and spending time with his cats.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Mark Munsell.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Emily; son, Christopher Munsell (Courtney); daughter, Michelle Nelson (Lance); son, Matthew Munsell (Jennifer); daughter, Tiffanie Schnuelle (Mike); son, Anthony Munsell; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Barb Munsell; nephew, Aaron Munsell.
The family will gather with friends 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Sunday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Online guest book and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.
