Brian Ochwat Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Yates Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Port St. Lucie Blvd. on Jan. 31, 2026.
Brian Anthony Ochwat passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on January 29th, 2026 at the age of 59.

Brian was a deeply devoted family-first man who placed his loved ones at the heart of every decision and every adventure. He always did everything with his family-whether it was weekend camping trips, backyard barbecues, holiday gatherings, or quiet evenings at home-and his unwavering commitment to togetherness created a deep sense of security, love, and belonging for those closest to him. His presence profoundly shaped the lives of his children, teaching them the value of loyalty, joy in shared moments, and the importance of showing up for the people you love. Through his example, Morgan and Lee grew up knowing they were cherished beyond measure, and his influence will continue to guide them throughout their lives.

Brian was also a nature-loving adventurer whose spirit thrived in the great outdoors. Whether hiking rugged trails, exploring wild landscapes, skiing the slopes, boating, or simply soaking in the beauty of the natural world, he approached every moment with boundless enthusiasm and a deep appreciation for life's wonders. His fun-loving attitude was infectious-he lived with joy, humor, and an unwavering positivity that brightened the lives of everyone around him. Brian was truly loved by all who knew him, leaving behind countless cherished memories and warm stories shared among family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Morgan Ochwat; his son, Lee Ochwat; his brother, Michael Ochwat; his sister, Linda Marasco (Ochwat) and husband Louis Marasco; his sister, Karen Hainline (Ochwat) and husband Stephen Hainline, his nephew Landon Hainline and wife Heather Hainline and great niece Riley Hainline and great nephew Lincoln Hainline, nephew Cameron Hainline, and nephew Miles Hainline and his niece Chanel Hainline. Brian's legacy of family devotion, adventure, kindness, and love for life will live on through his family and all those he touched.

Rest in peace, Brian. Your loving heart and adventurous soul will forever inspire us.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 2PM until the service time of 3PM at Yates Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 526 SW Port St. Lucie Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34953.
