Larissa Ann Grider, affectionately known as Lisa to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025, at the age of 49 in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Born on August 8, 1976, in
Boynton Beach, Florida, Lisa was a beam of light in the lives of all who knew her, radiating love, humor, and strength throughout her remarkable life.
Lisa's unwavering faith was the cornerstone of her existence. It guided her through life's challenges and joys. Her ability to find the silver lining in any situation was a true testament to her courageous spirit.
A devoted mother, Lisa's greatest pride and joy were her six beautiful children. She is survived by Sarah, Jonathan, Rene, Austin, and Christopher. Each of them carries a part of her legacy in their hearts and actions. Though her beloved son Michael Paul Junior preceded her in death, Lisa's love for him was unending, and she held his memory close to her heart every day.
Lisa's parents, Sharon and Steve Grider, remember her as the light of their lives with a hint of rebellion, a daughter who brought immense joy and laughter into their home. Her siblings, Tiffany and Matthew, recall her as not only a sister but a friend who was always there to offer love and support.
Lisa found tranquility and joy in the water, whether at the pool or laying on the sand at the beach. Her love for shopping was matched by finding the perfect gifts for her loved ones, a skill that brought smiles to many faces. Lisa loved to get lost in the words of a book or coloring a page to be as bright as her smile.
Lisa's ability to light up a room with her humor was unparalleled. Her laughter was infectious, her jokes timely, and her presence alone could ease any tension. She was the embodiment of love, always ready with a hug or a kind word of encouragement, making sure those around her felt cherished and valued. Above all, Lisa was courageous all the way through life up until the end, facing life's adversities with a bravery that inspired everyone she met. There was a light you felt when around her that warmed every room she walked into.
As we bid farewell to Lisa, we celebrate her life-a tapestry woven with threads of joy, resilience, and unconditional love. She will be deeply missed, but the memories of her funny stories, loving embrace, and courageous soul will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her legacy is one of laughter, love, and the courage to face each day with faith and grace. Though she has left this earthly realm, her spirit remains an indelible part of the lives she touched.
