Beverly Ann Coker, 83, originally of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Cleveland, Tennessee, Beverly later moved to Ocala, Florida at a young age, where she spent most of her adult life building her home and raising her family. Her life was defined by love, strength, generosity, and devotion to those she cherished most. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Sasko, whom she loved dearly.
Beverly was a devoted and amazing mother to Allen Carter, Johnny Carter, Judith Avery, Greg Richardson, and Melissa Tommie. She was also blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who brought her tremendous joy. Her family was the center of her world.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert & Ed Wooten and 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
She was known for her kindness, loving and caring nature, and her sweet spirit. Beverly was a wonderful grandmother and a fiercely protective mother — very sweet, but no one dared to mess with her children. She was a very hard worker who loved to stay busy and took pride in everything she did.
Cooking and baking were not only her profession, but her true passion. She loved preparing meals for her family and took great pride in baking beautiful cakes for weddings. Sharing her food was one of the many ways she showed her love. In her spare time, she also found a little fun in her scratch-off tickets. Even with what little she had, Beverly gave generously, donating to many organizations — from animal charities to veterans’ causes — always wanting to help in any way she could.
Beverly’s legacy is one of strength, warmth, compassion, and unconditional love. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew her.
