Brian Douglas Pasono passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025, with his family at his side, at the age of 44. Predeceased by his grandparents, Bud & Elaine Pasono and Edward & Elizabeth Gutmann; and his uncles George Gutmann and Gary Pasono.
He is survived by his loving wife of fourteen years, Christine Pasono (Andrzejewicz); his adoring children Andrzej and Elizabeth; his loving parents, Douglas and Rita Pasono; his sister Brenda (Frank) Etlinger; his cherished in-laws, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Brian was a warrior who fought valiantly for over six months following a severe stroke that occurred on September 1, 2024. Despite the challenges he faced, he remained strong and resilient, embodying the spirit of a true fighter. His perseverance and courage were an inspiration to all who knew him.
Born on July 11, 1980, Brian grew up in the town of Greece, New York and went to Hilton Schools. He enjoyed playing sports, and played travel soccer for many years with the Greece Eclipse Soccer Club. He also played on the Hilton High School varsity soccer and hockey teams. Brian continued his love of hockey by organizing and playing on a men’s league team up until his final season in 2024.
At the age of 23, Brian first met Christine Andrzejewicz. Soon after, they began dating, adopting animals, and were married August 20, 2010. Brian’s greatest joy in life, however, came when he became a father. Andrzej Brian Pasono (Andrew) was born in 2018 and Brian could not be more proud of his little duplicate. The Pasono family was finally complete with the birth of their daughter Elizabeth Cecilia (Ellie) three years later. Brian thrived as a family man and prioritized time with his wife and children whenever he could. The four went on many adventures together, and Brian, a big kid at heart, made sure to always keep his crew giggling.
Brian was a devoted Green Bay Packers, Vancouver Canucks, and Seattle Mariners fan. He found joy in activities such as playing hockey, singing his favorite songs, and often immersing himself in video games. His enthusiasm and zest for life were contagious, and he brought happiness and laughter to those around him.
Brian was employed by Dunn Tire and was the manager of their location in Henrietta, New York. He was respected and loved by his coworkers, employees, and customers; and took great satisfaction in his accomplishments at work.
Though his time with us was cut short, Brian’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He was cherished by more people than he ever knew, and his legacy will continue through his children and the countless lives he touched.
Rest in peace, our beautiful Brian. Your spirit will remain with us always.
