Brian Keith Pederson

Brian Keith Pederson, 66, of Argyle, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

He was born on November 17, 1959, to Myron and Helen Pederson in Monroe, Wisconsin. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1978. He was married to Jill Penniston on August 3, 1980, at Argyle Lutheran Church. He started his own insurance business, The Pederson Agency, in 1998 where he provided excellent service for the past 28 years to his customers, many of whom he considered friends.

Brian enjoyed visiting his cabin in Canada, especially with family. Other hobbies included spending time at his farm, Chevy trucks, Farmall tractors, and growing wildflowers as a habitat for monarch butterflies. He was an organ donor recipient and received a double lung transplant at Northwestern Hospital in March 2025. He honored his donor and his family with his commitment to live fully. He will be remembered fondly for his gentle demeanor, generous spirit, and dedication to family. He will be forever missed by all who loved him.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jill Pederson of Argyle; beloved daughters and sons-in-law: Adrienne (Erik) Leslie of Middleton and Alyssa (Robert) Daggett of Madison; a special granddaughter, Cadence Daggett of Madison; one brother: Michael (Connie) Pederson of Argyle; two sisters: Darlene Voelkli (Lester Grossen) of Monroe and sister Betty (Rudy) Gerber of New Glarus; his mother-in-law: LaVonne Penniston of Argyle; sister-in-law, Kim Swanson of Rochester, MN and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law: Russell "Hoot" Penniston.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date for close family. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff of Northwestern Hospital not only for the care of Brian, but also our entire family.
