Brian James Petrick, 56, of Lone Tree, Colorado passed away surrounded by his family. Brian, son of Michael and Barbara Petrick was born in Denver, Colorado and graduated from Gateway High School in Aurora, Colorado. Brian is survived by his parents Michael and Barbara Petrick, his wife, Lisa Petrick, and their sons, Blake, and Brody. Brian is also survived by his aunt Janet Lopez, his sister, Jennifer Sloan; brother-in-law, Christopher; nephew Jack and his niece Samantha. Brian is also survived by brother-in-law Darin Pitts and sister-in-law Paisley and their two boys Eli and Sam and mother-in-law Linda Pitts.
Brian had a true passion for all things baseball, including playing baseball through college, coaching both his son’s baseball teams as well as being behind the plate as a minor league umpire. Brian also had the uncanny ability to surgically dissect exactly what the Denver Broncos did wrong last Sunday. Brian also loved golf and NASCAR, cooking, music and being at the beach. Brian will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home on East County Line Road in Centennial, Colorado.
