Brian T. Pfeiffer

Brian T. Pfeiffer, 45, of Hamilton, passed away at home on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

Born in Toms River, Brian lived his early years in Waretown before coming to Hamilton during his grammar school years. He graduated from Nottingham High School with the Class of 1997 and went on to graduate from Westchester University in 2001 with a degree in accounting. An accomplished trombonist, Brian enjoyed being a member of the Nottingham North Stars Marching Unit and Jazz Band and then the Golden Rams Marching Band and WCU Jazz Band.

While finishing his time at Westchester, Brian began volunteering at the local Fame Fire Company. Upon graduating and returning to Hamilton, he worked as an accountant for Bristol Myers Squibb and then for Mercer Insurance. He served with the Bristal Myers Squibb Company # 27 and served as a volunteer fireman at Mercerville Fire Company and as a volunteer EMS with the Nottingham Ambulance Squad. In 2009 Brian decided to leave accounting and followed his dream of becoming a full time, career fireman with the Hamilton Township Fire Company. He currently served as Captain in the Squad Unit, stationed at DeCou.

Brian also loved technology and was known for his proficient computer skills. He also enjoyed playing on various local pool teams.

Predeceased by his brother, Michael Pfeiffer, his maternal grandparents, Bernadetta J. and Thomas F. McTighe; and his paternal grandparents, Edward and Roseanna Pfeiffer; Brian is survived by his parents, Gregory V. and Joan P. (McTighe) Pfeiffer of Mt. Sidney, VA; his brother, Gregory V. Pfeiffer, Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and his dear friend, Alec Martin, who was like family to him.

Funeral services honoring Brian were held on Wednesday, May 21st and Thursday, May 22nd, 2025.
Cremation services were also held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Brian's memory to the NJ Firemen's Home or to a charity of the donor's choice by visiting In Memory Of at inmemof.org.
