Brian A. Pitts 66 passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, November 24th, 2025 after a long battle with congestive heart disease. Brian fought the good fight against a number of chronic illnesses and his quiet strength and resilience was a testimony to all.

He graduated from Pulaski High School in New Britain. After high school he earned a scholarship to Johnson & Wales for Culinary Arts but chose to become a U.S. Marine. After leaving the military he pursued and earned a degree in Computer Technology, but he realized he loved to work in Construction and had a long career working in Construction and also pursuing his love of cooking by working as a chef in CT and MA. Upon retirement he continued to work in various kitchens because cooking was his true love. Brian loved a good meal and a great drink, and especially loved going to his cousin, Kiesha’s for family gatherings and being surrounded by loved ones.
Brian loved sports notably football, basketball, baseball and Golf, once sinking a hole in one. He loved music of all kinds especially Jazz and Old School R & B and travel. Brian was always unapologetically himself with a great smile and huge heart.
