Doris A LeBlanc, 99, of Worcester, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great grandmother passed away surrounded by her adoring family on March 6, 2026.
Doris was reunited with the Love of Her Life, Raymond J. Leblanc who was at the gate with his kind patient smile waiting for “his girl”. They were married for 73 years – her childhood sweetheart and he missed her as much as she missed him. Their loving daughter, Donna Jamros, and granddaughters Wendy Adams and Tina Jamros were there with him, along with her parents and siblings waiting for Sunday dinner to start.
Doris was the youngest of seven children and was born in Worcester, the daughter of Sarah (Porirer) Leblanc and Alyre Leblanc. All her siblings had predeceased her but were very special to her. Her oldest sister, Louise Bolduc who she casually “didn’t” argue with in French in the kitchen, her husband Antonio Bolduc, her Brother, Ernest Leblanc who she enjoyed getting lunch with, his wife, Grace, her brother, Alfred Leblanc who was as she described a class clown, and his wife Eva and 3 siblings who had passed away prior to Doris’s birth.
She was nothing short of amazing, she loved a good adventure, a short 5-mile walk (2 times a day), loved singing and loved a BIG home cooked meal. Her family was everything, even if you weren’t family, you became that to her, and she let you always know how special you were to her. She never missed a beat or an opportunity to say, “I love you.”
She leaves behind a loving son-in-law, Richard Jamros who made every day since Papa passed an easy one for her; her greatest joys, one granddaughter, Cheryl Jamros, three
great grandchildren, Ashley Little and her husband Brady Little- who she avidly enjoyed the cooking and family meals of, Madison Adams who she spent her Tuesdays with going missing in the grocery store and getting lunch, and Jessica Adams-their father Mark Adams; two great-great granddaughters, Natalie Renee and Charlotte Wendy who she was just overjoyed to have. Of Course, great great fur babies Pepper, Chelsea, Baxter and Archie, and many special nieces, nephews, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 5-8 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 13, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anne’s Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury. Burial will be held privately in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to: St. Anne’s Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, MA. 01545
