Brian Ross, of Land O' Lakes, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, May 8th. He was surrounded by his family when his journey ended.
Brian was born in Logansport, Indiana to Charles Eugene Ross and Sharon Lynn Ross on July 27th, 1962. He was one of 6 children. He came to Florida as a child, where he lived until he passed away.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Lynn (Ross) Spear and his father, Charles Eugene Ross.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Colleen Ross, two sons, Trevor Martin (Alysha) and Alex Ross, one grand-son, (Quinn Martin); four brothers, Lester Ross (Cathy), Paul Ross (Diana), Roger Ross (Rosie), Jeff Ross (Toni), one sister, Tina Gillam (Steve); and several nieces and nephews.
He loved being on the water with friends - fishing, boating, and the beach.
His passion was motocross. Some of his best memories were coaching and supporting his son, Alex; working on the bikes; and watching the races.
He was always active and had a strong work ethic. He enjoyed working to help others that were in need. He instilled that work ethic in his sons and was proud of both of them.
He was a long time employee of Edmonson Electric prior to an accident at home in 2014 that left him paralyzed and in a wheelchair with many health issues that followed.
His loving wife, Colleen, spent the past 10 years, tirelessly caring for him and ensuring that he was able to remain in his "Happy Place" at home.
There will never be anyone quite like him. His family and friends have many memories that will remain forever. He is forever in our hearts and will be missed.
