Brian Scott, 66 of Calvert City, KY passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at his residence.

Born Wednesday, January 21, 1959 in Sterling, IL, he was the son of the late Keith Scott and the late Sharon (Albus) Scott.

He was the owner of Industrial Hose and Supply and was a member of Grand Rivers Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Gilbertsville Masonic Lodge #853.

Brian is survived by his sons, Cody Scott of Benton, KY, Josh Scott wife Tara of Calvert City, KY, Matt McReynolds of Paducah, KY; daughters, Thesha Jones husband Allen of Calvert City, KY, Casey Brown husband Chris of Paducah, KY; sisters, Paula Malone of Benton, KY, Penny Dukes of Grand Rivers, KY; and grandchildren, Hunter Nichols, Anley Sanders husband Michael, Abby Nichols, Brayden Scott, Briley Scott, Avery Brown, Jasper Jones, Emersyn Brown and DK McKinney.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Brenda (Taunton) Scott; his parents; and brothers, Jeff Scott and Barry Scott.

A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home, located at 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025, with the Bro. Jimmy Jones and Allen Jones officiating.

Interment will follow in Calvert City Cemetery, Calvert City, KY.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Collier Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be sent to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Pl. Memphis, TN 38105.
