Seiwert, Brian Michael, 44, of Minnetrista, MN died peacefully on October 29th, 2023 with his family by his side.
Survived by his wife Laura (née Zigan); children William and Keira; mother Maureen Seiwert; siblings Louis Seiwert, Claire Hysell (Joe), Colin Seiwert, Nora Seiwert de Rojas (Daniel); mother-in-law Karen Zigan; and in-laws Andy Zigan (Faye), Adam McBride (Angela), Kate Hunter (Grant). Preceded in death by daughter Amelia Seiwert Zigan, father Michael Seiwert and father-in-law William Zigan.
Brian was born in Minneapolis, MN and grew up in St. Louis Park. He attended college at Coastal Carolina University and graduated with a business administration/golf management degree. Brian's education, passion, and skills for golf led him to a successful and fulfilling career as a golf professional. Since 2017, he has been the Head Golf Professional at Burl Oaks Golf Club, where he has built an exceptional golf program for members and their families.
One of Brian's greatest achievements was being a father. He was a calm and patient dad who loved his three children immensely. Brian prioritized family time enjoying nature, movies, sports and many laughs together. He took great pride in supporting his children in developing their interests and skills.
Brian was one of the most genuine and outstanding individuals you will ever meet. He was kind, funny, smart, and steadfast. His eternal optimism and positive energy impacted and inspired all that knew him.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 17th at 11am at The Church of St. Therese, 18323 Minnetonka Blvd, Deephaven, MN 55391. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred through the Go Fund Me fundraiser to support the family.
