Brian Earl Shaw, Sr., a man whose heart overflowed with love and generosity, passed away unexpectedly on March 30, 2026. Born on May 11, 1968, Brian lived a life marked by unwavering devotion to God, family, and community. His presence was a constant source of strength and kindness, he was always ready to offer help and willing to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

Brian’s zest for life was infectious, earning him the nickname "Energizer Bunny" at work, a testament to his boundless energy and dedication. He truly had no off switch, pouring himself wholeheartedly into everything he did. He could fix just about anything, and if he could not, it was truly broke. His happiest moments were often spent outdoors, tending to his lawn and garden with loving care; always finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. His happy place was on his lawnmower, with wife Christy and son Brian by his side as his weed eating crew. Brian’s love extended beyond his human family to his cherished fur babies, this connection to all living things was a reflection of his generous spirit and deep compassion.

Brian's proudest accomplishment was raising his son Brian Jr. by himself, a testament to his strength, dedication, and unconditional love. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those he leaves behind, including his beloved wife Christy Shaw; his son Brian Shaw Jr.; step-children Sierra and Jarred Childers; his granddaughter Mayah Shaw; step-grandchildren Caspian and Raidyn Childers; and his fur babies that brought such delight to his life that he adored dearly; Tazzy, Si, Coco, Scoot, Bailey, and Camo. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Earl and Joyce Ann Shaw, and his fur baby Shadow.

One of Brian’s favorite places in the world was Estes Park in Colorado, a haven where he found peace and joy in nature’s beauty. He also loved exploring the islands of Maui, embracing the adventure of new experiences. Among many treasured memories, one stands out vividly—a grand adventure with his son Brian —when they drove sixteen hours from Texas through Phoenix in a car without air conditioning, relying on an ice chest full of cold rags to keep them cool. This journey exemplified Brian’s spirit of perseverance and his deep bond with his son.

Brian Earl Shaw, Sr. embraced life with passion and faith, and his absence leaves a profound emptiness. Yet, his memory, defined by love, service, and unyielding energy, will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him. In every lawn mowed, garden nurtured, and act of kindness, Brian’s spirit endures—a beacon of devotion and a shining example of how to live fully and love deeply.
