Brian Keith Showells

Brian K "Brother" Showells was born to Jane A. Showell at 7:46 p.m. on May 10, 1965, at Beebe Hospital in Lewes, DE.
Brian was raised on New Road and Pilottown Road in Lewes. During his youth, Brian attended St. George AME Church, where he was active in the Young Peoples Department (YPD) and Sunday School. Brian also enjoyed playing Little League Baseball and attending Camp Barnes, the Delaware State Police facility in Angola, DE, during the summers.
Brian was a member of the 1983 Cape Henlopen High School graduating class. While at Cape, Brian enlisted in the United States Navy. After gradua­tion while waiting to leave for Boot Camp, Brian was employed to work in the office at Doxsee Clam Factory in Lewes. After serving eight years in the Navy and serving on many ships in various places, he returned home to Del­aware where he took up residence in New Castle County. Brian was first employed at Christiana Care as an EMT and later took a position with Criti­cal Care Transport Prehospital Services. He remained with this position until his passing.
Brian leaves to cherish his memory his mother Jane; sister, Debra; half-brother, Warren Ward; Great Uncles, Louis E. Riley (Lonnie), James Ball; Great Aunt, Elizabeth A. Ball; Aunt. Delema Lott; special cousins, Barry and Charlotte Lott of Newark, DE, and many other special relatives and friends.
