Brian Lee Stafford, age 61, of White Bluff, Tennessee, formerly of Lawrenceville, Illinois, left this world to enter his eternal peace and joy on Tuesday August 26, 2025 in Nashville, Tennessee after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Brian was born on November 7, 1963 in Vincennes, Indiana to Emend Stafford and Margaret Vaughn.

Brian graduated from Lawrenceville High School in 1981. After graduation Brian went to work for the Robinson Police Dept, then to the Illinois Department of Corrections, from which he retired. Brian was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and First Baptist Church in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Brian was an avid sportsman spending many days fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed cruising on his motorcycle before his diagnosis. Brian was a gentle and soft-spoken soul that would help his friends and loved ones in any way he was able. Those who had the chance to have him in their lives knew he was one that could be counted on.

Preceding him in death are both parents, his younger brother Ray, and furbabies Pepper and Buster.

Brian was a loyal and faithful husband to his wife Dina, whom he loved dearly and spent many years sharing adventures, travels, laughs, and tears.

Those staying behind to love, miss and honor his legacy include his wife Dina; sister Arlene Stafford; his children: Devin (Edge) Gher of Sumner, Bailee Frederick of Salem, Sonja Inyart of Bridgeport, Sean (Lynn) Inyart of Newton and furbaby Maggie Mae; grandchildren: Kenleigh Brian, Bentley Brian, Hallie Gher, Rhett Gher, Zara Wilson, Lila Porter, Nola Giddens, Brooke (Jeremy) Darnell, Emma Inyart, Elias Inyart, and Michael Inyart; and 1 great grandchild: Callie Wilborn.
