Patricia Ann Wilson Stafford, passed away on November 25, 2025, at Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. Born on June 7, 1955, in McDowell County, Patricia's life was marked by her unwavering faith, devotion to family, and passion for nurturing others.

Patricia was a proud and faithful member of the Faith Baptist Church in North Cove. Her spirit will be remembered not only in her church community but also among the many individuals whose lives she touched throughout her life.

She led a life full of love as a nurturing babysitter, a role she cherished and had a true passion for. Her family and friends fondly recalled her baking skills, particularly her exceptional chocolate oatmeal cookies that delighted everyone who was fortunate enough to taste them.

Patricia is survived by her loving siblings: Karen Mathis (Eddie), Dranan Wilson (Jeanet), Marie Wilson Grant (Billy), and Mark Allen Wilson (Karen). She also leaves behind her sisters-in-law, Debbi Sanitzo (Raul) and Diana McPeters (David), and her  brother-in-law Steve Stafford (Tracy). Patricia adored her nieces and nephews: Jennifer Wilson Blake, Dylan Wilson, Hunter Wilson, Brandy Dayton, Bryan Grant, Jereka Stafford, and Chuck Mathis, as well as her great nieces, Kennedy Wilson and Keilani Blake. A special friend, Wanda Price, will also carry her memory close to her heart.

Patricia was preceded in death by her father and mother, L.D. Wilson and Donnie McKinney Wilson, and her beloved husband, Mark Stafford.

The community is invited to honor Patricia’s life during the following services at Faith Missionary Baptist Church, located at 14082 US-221, Marion, NC 28752. A visitation will be held on November 29, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Patricia Ann Wilson Stafford’s legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering faith will be cherished by all who knew her.
