Bridget Michelle Dawn Doades

Bridget Michelle Dawn (Cottrill) Doades, 31, of Oden, Indiana, was unexpectedly lost on December 19, 2025. Born on February 8, 1994, Bridget lived a bold, vibrant life and left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Bridget was the beloved daughter of Eddie Cottrill (Starr) and Stacy Stephens (Rick). She attended Columbus Signature Academy (New Tech Campus), where her determination and drive were evident early on, and later studied Criminal Justice at Vincennes University.
Bridget graduated from the military training facility at Fort Leonard Wood, where she completed basic training followed by Military Police training. Bridget proudly served her country in the United States Army as a Specialist (SPC) in the National Guard and as Military Police Her service reflected her strength, discipline, and unwavering sense of duty-qualities that defined her both in uniform and in life.
Bridget then went on to build a successful career as a government contractor with SAIC, excelling in everything she pursued.
Larger than life, Bridget was known for her radiant smile, magnetic personality, and fearless presence. Strong, driven, and passionate, she approached life with intensity and heart. She had a deep love for animals, enjoyed attending country music concerts, and brought energy and laughter wherever she went.
Above all else, Bridget's greatest joy was her children. She was a devoted and fiercely loving mother to her daughter, Ansley, and her son, Asher. Everything she did was for them, and her love for them was unmatched.
Bridget is survived by her children, Ansley and Asher Whited; her parents, Eddie Cottrill (Starr) and Stacy Stephens (Rick); her siblings, Cody Ferry, Andrea Harris, Sierra Hutchinson, Tyler Cottrill, and Ariana Cottrill; and her step-siblings, Simone, Sierra, Sydney, and Samuel Robinson. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Bridget was deeply loved by so many and will be remembered for her fierce spirit, powerful presence, and boundless love. She will be missed beyond words and remembered always.
