Bridgette Shea Marcum

Bridgette Shea Marcum, age 65 of Prestonsburg, KY, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the Highlands ARH, Prestonsburg, KY. She was born October 19, 1960 in Pikeville, KY, a daughter of the late Jack Marcum and Susan Layne Akers. She was baptized at the Warehouse Church.
She is survived by her sister; Kimberly (Mark Dandurand) Marcum, Cincinnati, OH, three step siblings; Brian H. (DiAnne) Akers, Grethel, KY, Theresa (Steve) Tackett, Winchester, KY and Melissa (Greg) Adkins, Georgetown, KY, uncle; Doug (Dotty) Layne, Harold, KY, three cousins; Melissa (Bill) Collins, Sherry Collins and Robert Weddle.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step father; Hugh Winston Akers, brother; Jeffrey Marcum.
Memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
