Brigitte K. Hirneiss

Brigitte K. Hirneiss, beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, passed away at home on October 14th, 2025 she was 92 years old.
Brigitte was born on April 15th 1933 in Germany.The oldest of six children and is survived by one brother Benhudt Olemotz and one sister Monica Kainz, both in Germany. One son Mike Hirneiss of Fremont, California. Three grandchildren, Michael J. and James E. Hirneiss and Cassie M. Hartwell (Brent) all of Michigan. Six Great Grandchildren, Abby Hartwell, Brin Hill, Logan, Nolan, Memphis, and Roman Hirneiss, also all of Michigan.
Brigitte was recently preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Herbert Hirneiss of Fremont California. Both parents, two sisters, and two brothers, of Germany.
As a young lady Brigitte joined the Book Binding industry in Germany and also later in San Francisco California. She married Herb on March 11th 1960. The family moved to Fremont in 1968. Being one of the first homes built in the Northgate neighborhood of Fremont, where she met her lifelong friend Maxine Fitzgerald. The two were inseparable until Maxine's death. Brigitte was a breast cancer survivor in the early 90's. Her favorite pastime was cooking and baking. You could find her in her kitchen almost all of the time.
She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
