Britney Wells

Britney Anne Wells of Dayton, Ohio, born October 29, 1979, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 17th, 2024. She was raised in Middletown, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Janice Wells.

She is survived by her two sons, Isaiah Leatherwood and Malachi Milton, brother Travis Wells, adopted father Robert Wells, biological father Kevin Phillips, and close cousins Kristi Heater, Courtney Gustin, Kara and Kane Dempsey, Caiden Conley, Annalynn Williams and numerous other family members.

Britney was loved by many and she leaves behind many special friends, Hannah Blair, Britt Barone, Cheri Glanton, Tiffany Howard, Mina Marion, and her son’s father Jay Milton who she stayed close with as parents to their son. She is also survived by her beloved Chihuahua, Tokyo.

Britney possessed an entrepreneurial spirit which she was able to express by starting a small cleaning business. Britney was an active member of NA and took great joy in helping anyone she could. She was a beautiful person with a generous spirit and touched many people’s lives. She was always there to brighten your day by cooking a nice meal, making you laugh or holding you while you cried. She had a gift to make you feel truly loved. She was the center of attention wherever she went and brightened every room she entered. She was adventurous and loved to travel, recently visiting Tokyo, Japan and California. Britney loved her two sons with all of her heart and worked hard every day to be the best mother she could. Britney is deeply missed by many friends and family and will forever be in our hearts.

Family will receive guests from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439). A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 29th at the funeral home.
