Britni Nicole Dodd was born on February 12, 1989, in Yuma, Arizona where she lived for most of her life. She passed away at home on December 19, 2025, in Payson, Arizona. She is survived by her parents (Chuck and Cathy Dodd), two brothers (Ryan and Michael Dodd), sister-in-law (Katy Dodd), nephew and niece (Corbin and Maddie), as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins who meant a great deal to Britni.

Growing up, Britni was actively involved in school, church, dance, and theater while also spending a great deal of time enjoying family and friends. From an early time, Britni showed a gift of caring for others, especially the very young, very old, and animals. She used those skills to help children in schools and preschools in Yuma and Payson. This love also resulted in a very close relationship with her Grandma Jean with whom Britni spent a great deal of time sharing family stories.

Britni was very creative which was clearly shown through her art and her love of the English language. She spent hours creating and recreating, resulting in pieces of art and written words that reflected deep and often hidden meaning. Music was another passion of Britni's. She loved to put on an old record, turn it up loud, and sing and dance away. Music and art were two things that brought great comfort and happiness to Britni.

Britni left this Earth too soon at the age of 36. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Payson family home in March. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. As you look at a beautiful sunrise or sunset, or as you listen to classic music or read amazingly written words, think of Britni as she surely continues to express her gift of creativity.
