December 2, 1980 - February 6, 2026
Beloved Father, Brother, Friend and Casino Colleague- It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Randy Ervin Allen Sr., a cherished member of the Paradise Casino family and a devoted fan of sports, friends and good times. He passed away on February 6, 2026.
He began his career with a strong work ethic, and a welcoming smile that would define his professional life.
Randy was a proud graduate of San Pasqual High School. He dedicated 27 years to Paradise Casino in Yuma, AZ, where he worked in various roles, from Slot Change Person, to Slot Technician and Tribal Gaming Commission Inspector, as well as Cocopah Casino as a PIT Supervisor always rising to every challenge with integrity and humor. His colleagues admired him for his technical skills, his calm under pressure and his willingness to lend a helping hand-whether it was trouble shooting a machine or sharing a laugh on a busy shift.
Beyond work, Randy was a true sports enthusiast. He loved cheering on the San Francisco 49ers with unmatched passion, following the New York Yankees with unwavering loyalty, and never missed an exciting UFC Fight. His enthusiasm was infectious, and his debates over plays and fighters will be missed by all who knew him.
Preceded in death by his father, Randolph Allen; uncles, Rudolph Allen, Kenneth Allen; brother, Gorman Brenner Sr., aunt, Marlinda Allen Sherry; grandfathers, Victor Largo and Howard Allen; grandmother, Elzabeth Millard Largo; grandfather, Ervin Edmond Palone; grandmother, Joan Thomas Palone, along with many other relatives.
He is survived by mother, Joanna Allen; son, Randy Ervin Allen Jr.; niece, Tina Allen, Faithlynn Allen; Donald Menta; nephew, German Bremer Jr; sisters, Stephanie and Yvonne Allen Tova Sherry; brothers, Jackson Brenner Sr., Ivan Allen, Naaman Allen; aunts, Phyllis Jones and Joan McKinley; Warren and Brenda Flame; stepchildren, Isaac, Max, Natalie, Sierra Pacheco, as well as countless friends who became family throughout years of celebrations, and everyday moments of joy.
A special thank you to Christina Soloria, Justina Blu for your help during this tough time.
Funeral services will be held at the Quechan Tribal Big House, Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 5:00 pm with cremation on Wednesday morning, February 18, 2026 at 5:00 am.
Pallbearers include: Diego Galvan, Peirce Blackbear Cachora, Angelito Alvarez, Isaac, Max Pacheco, Alvin Robles, Desmond Allen, Donald Menta.
Honorary Pallbearers include: Peter Alonso, Mickey Jackson Jr., and Warren Flame.
